This sector is concerned with the design, procurement, operation, control and maintenance of biological, chemical and physical processes and involves large scale processing and manufacture of products.  Process engineering encompasses a wide range of industries such as advanced materials, biochemical, chemical, electronics, energy, food, mineral processing, petrochemical, and pharmaceutical.

Brian M. O’Connor has been employed on some of Ireland’s largest electronics manufacturing plants such as IBM Technology Campus (Damastown Industrial Estate) and XEROX Technology Park (Dundalk) working in contract administration, cost control and in particular in the recovery of contractual entitlements.

Brian M. O’Connor’s expertise in Commercial Management and in Construction Contract Claim production and Defence to Claim and Counter-Claim in the Process Engineering Sector of the Construction Industry is widely known in Ireland.





Mr. O’Connor’s expertise has derived from 28 years working in the Construction Industry with 15 of those years being attributed to advising Clients on all aspects of Construction with the exception of design. These Clients have included International Main Contractors and Sub-Contractors and large International Employers and Developers. 


In addition to working on the IBM Technology Campus (Damastown Industrial Estate) and XEROX Technology Park (Dundalk), Mr. O’Connor was also employed in the recent past on Ireland’s first Waste-Energy Plant in Duleek, County Meath providing expert Claims Consultancy services (Defence to Claims & Counter-Claims) to the Employer Indaver n.v. who is a large International Process Engineering / Waste Management Company.
